Sesame and You--A Teacher's Helper.

The guide for teachers of preschool and primary age deaf children is intended to accompany a videotape package of 20 Sesame Street minishows which consist of program segments chosen by teachers of the deaf. Listed for each minishow are the length, number of segments, general description, and captions. Listed for each segment is a detailed description, general objectives, specific objectives, uses, necessary pre-teaching, and related activities. Examples of concepts taught are order, classification, relationship, counting, and letter recognition. Appended are a list of related activities for problem solving, an index to the segments appropriate for specific instructional objectives, and the lesson plan of a demonstration class tape (also included in the package).
