Contents of this paper include: (1) Metropolitan Lima, (2) The Pueblas Jovenes, (3) The Character of Lima, (4) The Structure of Metropolitan Government in Lima, (5) Planning for Metropolitan Lima, (6) Oposecion Entre Lima Metropolitana y El Resto del Pais, (7) The Institutional Inventory--Planning, Research, and Training, (8) The International Roster, (9) Chimbote--A Special Case for International Assistance, and (10) Some Final Observations.
