A Bibliography of Doctoral Research on the Negro. Supplement, 1967-1969.
Xerox Univ. Microfilms, Ann Arbor, MI.
This is a supplement to the bibliography compiled by Earle H. West, and published by University Microfilms in 1969. Like the original, it lists dissertations covering every aspect of study relating to the Negro in the United States, and extends coverage of the subject through 1969. Subject areas are: (1) social institutions and conditions; (2) individual characteristics; (3) economic status and problems; (4) education; (5) history; (6) political and civil rights; and, (7) language, literature, and communications. The major source used in compiling this bibliography was "Dissertation Abstracts International," a monthly publication of Xerox University Microfilms; and the retrospective search of this source material was made through the DATRIX computer retrieval program.
