The Impact of Resource Room Instruction on Principal and Teachers' Attitudes.

Evaluated were the attitudes of 10 principals and 38 teachers (20 regular classroom teachers and 18 teachers who were voluntarily individualizing instruction) toward an instructional program for language and learning disabled elementary students based on the resource room concept. Principals and those teachers who had volunteered to individualize indicated positive feelings toward the program. Regular teachers reported limited use of resource room materials and limited coordination with the resource teacher. (See EC 052 070 for a companion study). (DB)
