This is a record of the first session of the House hearings on H. R. 763, a bill to provide for a study of the extent and enforcement of state laws and regulations governing the operation of youth camps. Included in the testimony are statements concerning the relative lack of state legislation on camp safety and personnel requirements; the testimony of Mitch Kurman whose son was killed at a camp in 1965; and the testimony of John Kirk, president-elect, American Camping Association, Inc.
