Durham, James A.
An occupational survey was conducted to provide additional data for educational planning. Specific objectives of the survey were: (1) to determine the number of persons currently employed in the district; (2) to determine the number of persons needed for employment in two years and in five years; and (3) to identify current and projected training needs of the College's primary service area. The personal interview method was used to gather the following data: (1) type of business, (2) employer's minimum education requirements, (3) whether or not he had employed and/or expected to have need for alumni from the colleges occupational programs, and (4) certain specifics regarding each job title within the organization. Results are given in tabular form. (CK)
