The Practice of Mass Communication: Some Lessons from Research.

A general picture of mass communication study and mass communication research is presented in this report. The report is primarily intended for media personnel and administrators involved in mass communication efforts in developing countries. The development of mass communication and the dynamic process of information flow are discussed. In addition, detailed comments on the media "communicators," the audiences, and the concepts of credibility, leadership, and appeal are voiced.
