Board of Education," 347 U.S. 483 (1954); Mr. Chief Justice Warren delivered the opinion of the Supreme Court; (2) "Bolling v. Sharpe," 374 U.S. 497 (1954); Mr. Chief Justice Warren delivered the opinion of the Supreme Court; (3) "Brown v. Board of Education," 349 U.S. 294 (1955); Mr. Chief Justice Warren delivered the opinion of the Supreme Court; (4) "U.S. v. Jefferson County Board of Education," 372 F. 2d 836 (1966); Circuit Judge Wisdom delivered the majority opinion of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; District Judge Cox delivered a dissenting opinion; (5) "U.S. v. Jefferson County Board of Education," 380 F. 2d 385 (1967), Certiorari denied 389 U.S. 840 (1967); on March 29, 1967, the United States Court of Appeals Fifth Circuit held that school boards have an affirmative duty to bring about integrated, unitary school systems; (6) "Green v. School Board of Virginia," 391 U.S. 430 (1968); Mr. Justice Brennan delivered the opinion of the Supreme Court; (7) "Swann v. Board of Education," 402 U.S. 1 (1971); Mr. Chief Justice Burger delivered the opinion of the Supreme Court; and, (8) "Board of Education v. Swann," 402 U.S. 43 (1971); Mr. Chief Justice Burger delivered the opinion of the Supreme Court. (JM)
