Volume VI of a Contemporary Research Incorporated report, designed to assess exemplary preservice teacher training for inner-city elementary teachers, contains a manual for teachers of the strategies and techniques mentioned by inner city teachers for handling prevalent problems. Part I contains all of the strategies and techniques reported for each of 50 problems. These are contained in 50 tables, one for each problem. Each problem has five or six general strategy approaches for coping with that specific problem. A number of specific techniques and the number of teachers who reported each technique are listed within each strategy.
