For each of about 2,000 U.S. government films, the following information is given: length, millimeter, color or black-and-white, sale price, rental price, order number, and producing agency. For some, year of production is also listed. There is a one-sentence description of each film. Films are listed by subject and indexed by title and subject. The subjects are: agriculture, automotive, aviation, biography, business, education and culture, electricity, electronics, health and medical, human relations, machining, marine, national security, philosophy, safety, physical fitness, science, social science, technical, and woodworking. Each of these subjects is divided into topics. Although audience is not specified for most films, most appear appropriate for older students and adults. Rental and purchase information is included.
