How Well Can You Listen?
Hirigoyen-Haussler
Intended for students seeking to improve basic conversational skills in Spanish, this text provides for practice in following and giving directions orally, reading, and pronouncing "troublesome" words. Emphasis is placed on the development of listening skills, analysis of pseudo-prefixes and capital letters in a given paragraph, recognition of accents in a list of words, and matching a group of words with their definitions. Students develop their listening skills through the use of taped lectures, filmstrips, and oral reports. (RL)
