Engineering College Research and Graduate Study, 1972 Annual Directory.
American Society for Engineering Education, Washington, DC.
This directory of engineering college research and graduate programs is designed to promote the cause of graduate study in engineering by describing for each institution the admission requirements, faculty names and specialties, enrollment by specialty and degree program (master, Ph.D.), degrees, fields of advanced study, appointments available to graduate students (including stipends), research area of accepted doctoral theses, and other data. Most of the data are for the 1970-71 academic year and are based on information from questionnaires received from 191 engineering colleges and affiliate members of ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education). A list of the colleges replying to the questionnaire, a copy of the questionnaire, a summary of all the data (totals), an index for fields of engineering graduate study, and an index for the areas of engineering college research are included.
