The projects are categorized by one or more primary areas of communication and then as to the most applicable basic form of communication. Basic areas of communication research are: Communication Theory, Interpersonal Communication, Small Group Communication, Organizational Communication, Mass Communication; Communication Education, and Communicative Disorders.
