Foundations located in every state, except Alaska, are included. The greatest concentration is in New York State which has nearly 26% of the listed foundations. Twelve foundations have nearly a third of all foundation assets. Kellogg Foundation, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, The Pew Memorial Trust, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, Carnegie Corporation of New York, The John A. Hartford Foundation, and the Andrew W.
