New York State Education Dept., Albany.
The private universities and colleges of New York State have incurred increasing financial deficits over the past 4 years and a number of them, including several of the largest universities, are confronted with formidable problems in maintaining and restoring fiscal solvency currently and in the future. This report covers the nature, extent and sources of the financial problems of the colleges and universities receiving State aid under the Bundy program adopted by the legislature in 1968. The report includes an explanatory main text, a 22 section summary of findings, and tables containing the detailed financial and statistical data. (Author/HS)
