How to Provide Instructional Video Tape/Film Accountability.
Wade, Warren L.
The guidelines presented here are designed to provide nonbehavioral scientists with specific directions on how to ascertain systematically and objectively the effectiveness of an existing videotape or film and how to validate these during production. After an introductory section on the general position of instructional videotapes and films in a school district budget, the following criteria are set forth: 1) Systematic procedures for determining the effectiveness of instructional videotapes/films in inventory or under consideration for purchase, 2) systematic procedures for making validated instructional videotapes/films, and 3) school board instructional videotape/film purchase policy conclusions that emerge from the foregoing discussions.
