This document supplies guidelines for the future design of structures within one category of relocatable learning facilities--divisible facilities. The current use and average cost of portables; and teacher, student, and community reactions are discussed. Four types of relocatable structures are described: portable, mobile, divisible, and demountable facilities. Design recommendations include minimum standards of heating, ventilation, and lighting. Various plan arrangements for relocatable learning areas in groups of two through six relocatables are illustrated. A related document is EA 003 745. (MLF)
