The Team-Teaching Problem Checklist.
Gallessich, June; And Others
This study describes Team Teaching Problem Checklist (TTPC), an instrument developed for and used in an investigation of two elementary school team teaching projects in which the team structure was designed to facilitate individualization of instruction. Twelve teams were involved in the project, each composed of teachers of the same grade level. The TTPC, consisting of 70 items with 7-point rating scales, was administered to all teachers, principals, and student teachers assigned to project schools. The checklist identified problem areas in a team project, the degree to which different problems were important within a particular school or team, and attitudinal changes over time. The results demonstrate the need for administrative sanction and active support that would provide the environment necessary to sustain an innovation long enough for its usefulness to be assessed.
