This report deals with the graduate school of Harvard University and focuses on the problems that have been created by the school's rapid expansion in the past 10 years. Chapter 2 examines the size of the graduate school in terms of available resources and recommends a reduction in the number of graduate students by at least 20 percent over the next 5 years.
