The Task Force for Student Involvement.
Vernon, Sarah A.
A committee of high school students was formed to promote the positive involvement of students in the educational system of North Carolina. Sponsored and supported by the State Department of Public Instruction, the committee draws its members from all areas of the State. The focus is not only on providing a forum for students' opinions and criticisms of the educational system but also on involving them directly and constructively in the total educational process. Students can offer important insights into many problems confronting high schools today and, working with faculty members and administrators, students can design effective, practical solutions.
