The second of two volumes, the document contains the appendixes to a study which investigated the influence of typewriting on selected language arts skills and motor development of educable mentally retarded students. The academic achievement of such students in reading, vocabulary, spelling, and in motor skill development, after completing language arts programed exercises on electric typewriters instead of by hand with pen or pencil, is recorded in Volume I (see EC 031 254). The appendixes contain material on such topics as progress reports, participating schools, characteristics of subjects, typewriting materials, progress record forms, evaluation and case study forms, typewriting tests, raw data, case studies, and teachers' evaluations.
