Science: A Guide for Teaching the Handicapped.

Presented are guidelines for planning science programs for the educable mentally retarded at four levels of difficulty: primary, intermediate, junior high, and senior high school levels. Areas of study covered at each level are animals, plants, weather and seasons, the earth, the universe, forces, human beings, and the environment. General objectives, an outline of content, resource materials, suggested experiments, initiatory and assimilating activities, and selected starter units are included.
