This publication provides projections of statistics for elementary and secondary schools and institutions of higher education. Projections for the 10-year period from 1969 to 1979 are made for enrollments, graduates, teachers, and expenditures. Based mainly on 1958-59 to 1968-69 data, these projections assume that the past 10 years' trends in enrollment rates, retention rates, class sizes, and per pupil expenditures will continue through 1978-79. Numerous tables, charts, and graphs illustrate study findings. (Author/LLR)
