This volume identifies the variables which have been formed from the non-test data collected in NLSMA. The information in this report is a comprehensive description of the NLSMA population in contexts other than mathematics achievement and psychological characteristics. Data were included on school-community characteristics, socioeconomic measures, teacher characteristics, curriculum patterns, and geographic distribution. The report is intended as a reference for the study and should be used in conjunction with the preceding eight NLSMA reports. (Editor/FL)
