NLSMA Reports, No. 2, Parts A and B, Y-Population Test Batteries.
Wilson, James W., Ed.; And Others
This is one of a series of reports on the National Longitudinal Study of Mathematical Abilities. These volumes contain most of the test batteries which were administered to students who were seventh graders at the start of the study in the Fall of 1962. These students comprised the Y-Population. For the most part, the tests have been reproduced exactly as they appeared in the students' test booklets. The test batteries for the Y-Population follow the sequence which is most prevalent in the United States, i.e. algebra in Grade 9, geometry in Grade 10, and second-year algebra in Grade 11. Test booklets for particular test sessions contain a number of different scales. Consequently, the reader will find it helpful to refer to "NLSMA Reports No. 5" which contain a brief description of each separate scale together with a report on the statistical characteristics of the scale.
