Rosenfield, Harry N.
The views of the Ad Hoc Committee of Educational Institutions and Organizations on Copyright Law Revision on the major problems of copyright law revision, particularly in relation to emerging instructional technology, are outlined at length in this paper. Among areas discussed are developments leading to the establishment of the Ad Hoc Committee, what education wants from the copyright law, limited copying and recording for educational use, reasonable use of new educational technologies, the needs of education as affected by copyright duration, and basic principles of public policy.
