Volume 1 of two volumes on the use of computers in education, this annotated bibliography contains 338 unclassified references covering the period from July 1959 through June 1969. A computer search covers July 1953 through September 1969. Success in the use of computerized education and training systems is evaluated. Reports on programed instruction indicate the feasibility of a wide range of uses of computers in education, in training, and in adaptive learning techniques.
