In addition to rating the independent behavior of gifted children in the individually Prescribed Instruction (IPI) program, this study also attempts to measure the attitude of children, parents, and teachers toward the IPI program. The report discusses the rationale behind IPI, the school population in the study and control schools, and the research methodology of the study. The conclusions reached are summarized and some recommendations are offered. Appendices include the materials used to conduct the study. (JY)
