The guides have been written to help teachers provide effective instruction for children who do not speak English as their native language. The guides have been planned for use in the primary grades and have been written on two levels of difficulty. The first level contains 128 lessons, the second 115, and each provides instruction for approximately one year. Each lesson in the First Level series is presented in the following format: I Objectives. A. Content and Teaching Points, B. Test and Likely Errors (at end of lesson). II Materials. III Procedures.
