The prevocational program is discussed and a vocational program that fits most facilities in schools for the deaf is presented. Desirable vocational teacher qualifications are reviewed, and sources where vocational teachers may be recruited are explored. Suggestions are made regarding areas that may provide increased employment opportunities for the deaf worker of the future. Finally, a list of government programs in the area of and related to vocational education is provided.
