Evaluation in Vocational Education. Research Summary.

Due to rapid industrial and technological developments, evaluation of vocational education programs must be a continuous process. The product to be evaluated is an educated youth capable not only of entry into the labor market, but also of persisting and progressing in the occupation. Capsulated descriptions of evaluation research on vocational education programs are presented in: (1) Retraining Projects, (2) Agricultural Education, (3) Business Education, (4) Industrial Arts and Trade and Industrial Education, (5) Vocational Guidance, (6) Adult Education, (7) Teaching Methods, (8) Teaching Machines and Program Instruction, and (9) General Curriculum, are presented.
