Family Living Including Sex Education.

In 1967, the New York Board of Education added a program on Family Living designed for school students from the pre-kindergarten level to the senior level in high school. Tables are used to establish year-by-year concepts to be explored, learning activities to be followed, and general course content relating to the basic concept. In addition, there are lists of audio-visual materials approved for use at specific grade levels, text materials to be used at designated grade levels, and approved supplementary books suggested for pilot instruction in the sex education program at designated grade levels.
