A variety of methods in instructing adults is presented in this teacher's manual which also mentions the availability of packets of instructional materials and lists the subject areas covered. To this is added comments on the background material for the adult teacher, and on the importance of aims, motivation, and development in lesson plans for adults. The book also contains detailed information on how to present lessons using buzz-groups, round robins, anecdotal stories, audiovisual aids, photocopying, filmstrips, flipcharts, and problem-solving techniques. In conclusion, it points out the advantages to be gained by adults who are successfully taught to become better members of society. (nl)
