GUIDELINES COVER THE PLANNING AND OPERATION OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR HANDICAPPED CHILDREN. PROCEDURES ARE STATED FOR DEVELOPING SERVICES FOR THOSE WITH HEARING, VISUAL, OR PHYSICAL HANDICAPS AND THE HOMEBOUND OR HOSPITALIZED. ACCOMMODATING THE CRIPPLED IN REGULAR BUILDINGS, PROVIDING PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL, AND SPEECH THERAPY, AND ARRANGING SPECIALIZED INSTRUCTION FOR CHILDREN WITH PERCEPTUAL PROBLEMS AND RELATED LEARNING DISORDERS ARE DISCUSSED. ROOM AND BOARD PROVISIONS, SUMMER PROGRAMS, AND TEACHER COUNSELOR PROGRAMS FOR THE PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED ARE PRESENTED. SPECIAL PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN NEEDING SPEECH CORRECTION.
