Abstract:Two pieces of free writing by children six to nine years old were rated for creativity and legibility. Creativity was found to be unaffected by the type of paper (lined or unlined) used. However, young children's legibility was greater with unlined paper, while the opposite was true of the older children. (Author/GC)
