| Abstract: | The purpose of the National Collegiate Athletic Association football television plan is to reduce the adverse effects of live television on football game attendance and to advance the overall interests of intercollegiate athletics. Articles agreed upon by the Association are presented in this report. Statistics are presented on attendance at college football games and television broadcasts of the games. Rules are set forth for controlling, monitoring, and supporting television broadcasts of intercollegiate events. (JD) |
