Multitrait Multimethod Techniques
Scope Note:
Experimental validation designs requiring the assessment of two or more traits, each by two or more methods -- the purpose is to provide a dual approach in which different methods of measuring the same trait should have high correlations (convergent validity), and different traits measured with the same method should have low correlations with the trait of interest (discriminant validity)
