Recognizing a growing globalization of nations and cultures, "Zeitschrift fur erziehungs--und sozialwissenchaftliche Forschung" brings together educational and social science research topics that address the interactions between education and society in their pedagogical, social, physical, economic, legal, and administrative dimensions. Broadly, the journal combines and compares the efforts of different social disciplines from many countries and cultures, and disseminates results of empirical study and research, hoping to continue the progress of social and educational theory while simultaneously serving the needs of teachers. This document consists of the 11 issues of this journal issued during its initial 5-year period, 1984-1988 (2 issues per year, with an additional special issue on "Comparative Education" in 1987).
