Campbell, Bob; Kaunda, Loveness; Allie, Saalih; Buffler, Andy; Lubben, Fred
Journal of Research in Science Teaching, v37 n8 p839-53 Oct 2000
Analyses the ways in which university-entrant science students carry out and communicate experimental activities, and identifies a model to explain characteristic communication practices. Observes the investigative strategies of participant students who have a lack of experience with laboratory work and scientific writing. Uses laboratory reports to identify the ways in which students communicated these strategies. (Contains 30 references.) (Author/YDS)
