Professional school counselors are directed to develop comprehensive, data-driven, results-based programs. A 10-year content analysis of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) Bulletin (1997-2007) was conducted to determine the extent to which school counselor reform aligns with the work of educational administrators. Themes were derived from the Bulletin and compared with guiding school counseling documents. Potential are as for collaboration are suggested. Mutual priorities exist around academic achievement and working with varied stakeholder groups. (Contains 3 tables.)
