Social networking and other technologies, if used judiciously, present the means to integrate 21st century skills into the classroom curriculum. But they also introduce challenges that educators must overcome. Increased concerns about plagiarism and access to technology can test educators' creativity and school resources. Air Academy High School, located on the grounds of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado, is in a 50-year-old building that lacks air conditioning and Wi-Fi access in some areas, particularly in interior classrooms with no windows. Five years ago, the school was lucky to have computers that reliably started up each day. Today, Air Academy High School is using an array of technological tools to support learning and hone students' 21st century skills. This transformation was made possible through a voluntary, teacher-based approach. Air Academy's overall shift toward technology integration gained momentum in late 2010 and early 2011. Technology helps teachers address concerns about plagiarism while increasing students' important 21st century skills.
