This study investigated the availability of professional development opportunities for water quality control personnel in the midwest. The major objective of the study was to establish a listing of educational opportunities for the professional development of water quality control personnel and to compare these with the opportunities technicians identify as important. The results of the study indicate a significant lack of educational opportunities for professional development of water quality control personnel in the survey region. (Author/RE)
