Integrated Utility Systems Feasibility Study and Conceptual Design at the University of Florida. Executive Summary.

This executive summary presents a brief analysis of findings and recommendations. The concept of the Integrated Utility System (IUS) is to consider the interaction and mutual support of five utility subsystems needed by a campus complex of buildings. The subsystems are: (1) Electric power service; (2) Heating - ventilating - air conditioning and hot water service; (3) Solid waste handling; (4) Liquid waste handling; and (5) Potable water service. The IUS concept seeks optimum system performance. An IUS feasibility study at the University of Florida is summarized. (Author/MR)
