Organization and Management Guide for Arizona Distributive Education.

This guide is designed to assist the distributive education teacher-coordinator and school administrator in planning and developing a program of career exploration and skill development in the field of marketing and distribution. Five major sections include the following information: statements of Arizona's philosophy of distributive education in twenty-five areas (e.g., administration, coordination, cooperative plan, free enterprise, occupational objective, recruitment, teacher education); descriptions of instructional content for twenty-two subject areas in a distributive education curriculum; descriptions for projects (including goals, objectives, and administrator/teacher-coordinator roles) at the senior high school level in the areas of marketing (school store), merchandising co-op, world of communications (visual media), marketing-merchandising co-op; a six-page bibliography of instructional materials; and an eight-page form for evaluating secondary distributive education programs. Brief information is also presented on the application of labor laws to the distributive education program, suggested rules and regulations for cooperative merchandising, funding procedures, and the youth organization, Distributive Education Clubs of America.
