These data will inform quality-related research (QR) funding for the academic year 2004-2005. It also asks institutions to update data on fundable research students who are eligible to pay certain fees. The document contains guidance notes for completing the survey, definitions used in the survey, examples of the survey tables, and details of how to obtain templates and upload data (Annex E).
