And finally, an essay by Martin Trow, Reflections on Youth Problems and Policies in the U.S., emphasizes aspects of the youth unemployment problem that are relevant particularly to the U.S. He discusses the secondary labor market, the hidden economy, cultural unemployment, types of youth and policies for youth, and types of secondary labor market jobs.
