This pamphlet and accompanying brochure of the same title describe a radio series of 13 half hour programs on the participation of women and minorities in science in the United States. The series attempts to make the public aware of the crisis in the sciences and science education and provides role models for young people, particularly young women and members of minority groups, who are contemplating science careers. The first two programs are documentaries defining the problem and the creative solutions being tried. The remainder of the programs are portraits of female and minority scientists at work.
