Due to the tremendous interest in all phases of environmental control, particularly with reference to water pollution control, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is attempting to provide the lay public with accurate information about water resources so they may react with proper knowledge and constructive activity. This anthology of papers presented at AIChE meetings during 1970 reports on the rapid progress made in the control of the aqueous environment.
