Resources for literature searches of the World Wide Web (WWW) are outlined for the use of university faculty, staff, and students seeking information on the teaching of English as a foreign language (TEFL) and on applied linguistics. The guide begins with a brief overview of resources for Web-based searching and general information about the strategy of searching. Subsequent sections list examples of major bibliographic databases, print journals, hybrid journals, electronic journals and electronically-available articles, dissertation and thesis link sites, online bibliographies, library sites, and general link sites related to TEFL and applied linguistics.
