A biennial publication of data collections (historical, comparative, student, staffing, space, and financial) from Ohio's state-assisted colleges and universities is presented. Six sections provide information on the following: (1) historical data (student enrollment, U.S., Ohio public and private totals; student enrollment, Ohio public institutions; student enrollment full-time equivalent; operating appropriations, summary and by institution, operating appropriations per full-time equivalent student; capital improvements appropriations; and student fees); (2) comparative data (selected financial data, all states; faculty compensation, Big Ten universities; and estimated net tuition per student); (3) student data by type of institution (student majors, origin of students, age and sex of students, enrollment load of students, day/evening enrollments and living arrangements, racial/ethnic categories by sex, undergraduate admissions, degrees awarded, and full-time equivalent by program); (4) staffing data by type of institution (full-time equivalent staffing; full-time equivalent faculty by rank; highest degree analysis, four-year institutions; faculty salary, average by rank, and range by rank; instructional service analysis, and faculty load by program); (5) space data by type of institution (physical plant inventory, distribution of net assignable area by room type, and distribution of net assignable area by function); and (6) financial data by type of institution (summary of incomes and expenditures, total operating income/total operating expenditures, instructional and general income summary, application of funds available for instruction and general, and instructional and general expenditures).
